Usui Reiki Certificate Courses in Hong Kong: Level 1 to Master Teacher
Limitless Reiki Academy teaches the Usui Reiki Natural Healing System (臼井靈氣自然療法) at our studio in Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong. There are four levels, from complete beginner to Master Teacher. Classes are small (2–4 students), Level 1 needs no prior experience, and our Reiki courses are accredited by the UK's Complementary Medical Association (CMA). Fees start at HK$2,000.
Class language: classes are taught in Cantonese, and course manuals are in Chinese.
What Is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, hands-on energy practice. The practitioner places their hands on or just above the body to channel Reiki, which practitioners understand as universal life energy. Most people find it deeply relaxing. In our classes, Reiki is taught as a way to support relaxation, emotional balance, self-awareness and inner calm, for yourself first and later for the people around you.
Reiki is not a religion. People of any background or belief can learn it, and we respect every student's faith and personal choices.
At each level your teacher gives you an attunement (靈授), a traditional part of the Usui system that opens your connection to Reiki energy. After that, regular practice is how your skill and confidence grow.
A Beginner-Friendly Reiki Course: No Experience Needed
You don't need any experience, special sensitivity or talent to start Reiki. Level 1 starts from the basics and is designed for complete beginners. It may suit you if you:
- are looking for personal growth and a better balance of body, mind and spirit
- want to learn energy healing to support yourself, your family, your friends or even your pets
- are thinking about one day working as a Reiki practitioner or teacher
- want to explore your connection with yourself and the wider world
After Level 1 you can practise Reiki on yourself every day. We encourage students to build a steady practice before deciding whether to continue.

The course content and certificate are the same whoever teaches you. Only the fee differs, depending on the teacher.

Theme: self-healing. In one day you'll learn the foundations of Reiki and leave with a simple self-care practice you can use every day.

Is Reiki Level 1 Right for Me?
Level 1 is a good fit if you want a calm, practical introduction to energy work and a daily self-care practice, and you're open to learning through direct experience. Everyone feels Reiki in their own way and at their own pace, so we encourage you to come with an open, relaxed mind and without comparing yourself to others.
Level 1 is not a medical treatment, and it isn't a quick fix. If you're dealing with a health or mental health condition, please keep working with your doctor or therapist. Reiki can sit alongside that care, but it doesn't replace it.
Reiki Level 2
Prerequisite: Reiki Level 1.

- Energy scanning
- Sensing the human energy field
- A complete step-by-step method for giving Reiki to others
- Distance Reiki: sending Reiki to family and friends who are far away

The class includes one-to-one hands-on practice, with personal guidance from your teacher so that you're comfortable with the techniques.
What you receive: Usui Reiki Level 2 certificate bearing the CMA logo; a Chinese-language Level 2 manual; original crystal singing bowl chakra meditation music (Root); Reiki energy stickers; WhatsApp support; access to the student discussion group; help applying for CMA student membership (fee paid by the student).
Format and fee: one-day class of 3–4 hours in a small group of 2–4. HK$2,900 (Fanny Wu) or HK$4,200 (Chui Tien You).
Reiki Master Practitioner (Level 3)
This level is for students who want to go deeper into Reiki practice, both in theory and in hands-on work.
Prerequisite: Reiki Level 1 and Level 2. This level is generally open to Academy students; if you trained elsewhere, please contact us.

- The complete set of Reiki symbols
- A professional Reiki session structure, with supervised practice
- Psychic Surgery technique
- Violet Flame cleansing
- Using crystals for energy cleansing
- Animal Reiki and chakra adjustment
- Manifestation techniques
- Third-eye (brow chakra) meditation
- Receiving intuitive guidance
- An introduction to brainwave states
- One-to-one practice with individual guidance from your teacher
What you receive: Reiki Level 3 certificate and Chinese-language manual; original chakra meditation music (Third Eye); a crystal bracelet energetically cleansed by your teacher; registration as a student member of the IARP if you'd like it; continued access to the student discussion group.
Format and fee: two sessions of 3–4 hours each in a small group of 2–4. The two sessions are about 3–4 weeks apart. HK$3,900 (Fanny Wu) or HK$5,200 (Chui Tien You).
Reiki Master Teacher
The Master Teacher level completes your training in the full Usui Reiki system. You'll learn to give attunements and to teach Reiki to others, as well as course structure, teacher responsibilities and professional ethics.
Prerequisite: completion of the Academy's Master Practitioner course.
After completing: you may apply for CMA professional membership (annual fee paid by the student).
Format and fee: two sessions (the first 3.5 hours, the second 2 hours), taught by Chui Tien You only. HK$6,000.
Professional Recognition: CMA and IARP
- The Complementary Medical Association (CMA), UK. Limitless Reiki Academy is a CMA-registered college, and our Reiki courses are CMA-accredited. Once you complete Level 1 you can apply for CMA student membership, which lets you take part in association activities and receive its updates. Master Teacher graduates may apply for professional membership.
- IARP (International Association of Reiki Professionals). With the Level 3 (Master Practitioner) certificate you may register with the IARP as a Reiki practitioner. With the Master Teacher certificate you may register as a Reiki teacher.
Membership fees for the CMA and IARP are paid by the student. We're happy to help with your application.
Weekend and Evening Reiki Classes for Busy Professionals
You don't need to take time off work to learn Reiki. We run a fixed class schedule each month, including weekend and evening classes, and each level is taught as a short, self-contained course: Level 1 is one class of about 3.5 hours, and Level 2 is one class of 3–4 hours. You choose when to continue to the next level.
If weekends are hard for you, there are other options:
- Online Reiki Level 1 (Zoom). Same content as the in-person course, plus a free 30-minute in-person attunement at our studio. Private one-to-one class (150 minutes): HK$3,000. Groups of two or more: HK$2,200 per person. Taught by Fanny Wu.
- Private classes or custom times, arranged on enquiry. Just contact us.
- Private group or corporate classes, arranged to suit your schedule.
